Cyclonus does his best Hot Rod impersonation

I've had quite the week this week. I finally finished ef - a fairy tale of the two (Bad Ends included), got round to starting Remember11, did some minor changes to the blog, and also joined the Twitter craze.

Speaking of Twitter, I have configured my FeedBurner so posts made on my blog (and also those on The Nerdsphere Network where I serve as 'Webmaster') will appear as Tweets automatically for easy following via my account (provided you're following me cos I've set it to private).

Now onto this week's purchase...

Thursday, yawara, I received Timelines Shattered Glass Cyclonus.

Regardless of my opinion on the club, I do like this exclusive (even it does look fucking ugly to the rest of you).

Again, I have already given my views on this Cyclonus mould numerous times before. The only thing left to comment on is the colour scheme, and honestly, I think he looks rather nice in his Hot Rod-esque paint job (I just wish the red was done in a darker shade).

I never thought I'd be on Twitter

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but I've just got myself a Twitter account.

Only time can tell if I'll come to regret this decision down the road...

Machine Puzzler has arrived on the scene!

Since my last post here I've finished the partial patches for Muv-Luv Alternative and Umineko Episode 7, and also reached Chapter 7 of ef - a fairy tale of the two.

Wednesday, bigjjstudd, I received GoBots Puzzler.

In all my years of collecting robot toys I never once dabbled in GoBot toys (never seen the series either), but thanks to a keen eye and some snipe bidding, I now have my very first GoBot (or Machine Robo for that matter).

Puzzler is comprised of six smaller GoBots named Pocket, Crossword, Tic Tac, Jig Saw, Rube and Zig Zag. And although they aren't the best as individual robots, and the ones I have are showing their age with looseness, sticker wear and paint chips; as a combiner these guys are a real gem.

Unlike most Transformers gestalts of the time, all the parts necessary for the combined mode are integrated into them, so there's no fear of losing a hand or foot somewhere with these guys.

While I'm singing his praises, there are some downsides like Crossword and Pocket not locking in-place when connected as arms (they just sorta hang there), and Jig Saw's weighty die-cast arms getting in the way with no real place to go (as far as I can tell anyway).

Friday, sihads, I received Hunt for the Decepticons Axor.

What is there to say? Its simply Lockdown with a new head and weapon in a blander looking colour scheme.

Banzaitron is here for your soul!

I would have posted this yesterday but didn't, so it now gets done on the day of my 26th birthday.

Thursday, Kapow Toys, I received Hunt for the Decepticons Decepticon Banzaitron.

I said what I wanted to say about this mould when I got Bludgeon, but I will add that Banzaitron's colour scheme is really bloody nice, although it would have been better if they painted the eye detail (he has some evil looking eyes ideal for wanting your soul).

All I pray now is that his sword doesn't end up like Bludgeon's (more bent than... nah, I better not go there).

The Atomic disaster of the Punch of Kill Everything!

Not a lot of items again, but I did use the time to try out Skype (and had a brief chat with Sir Lagerlot in the process), reach Chapter 6 of ef - a fairy tale of the two., begin replaying Episode 6 of Umineko (so I can then play the partial patch of Episode 7), and read some of the Muv-Luv Unlimited manga (which has Meiya at her best).

Friday, Toys 'R' Us, I received Animated Atomic Lugnut.

Ideally, I would have preferred to get Lugnut in his original colours, but the prices for him were higher than the Atomic repaint, so I went with this instead.

His size isn't too disappointing (yes, he could have been bigger), but he's a fun little toy.

Saturday, Amazon.co.uk, I received Iron Man 2 2-Disc Special Edition.

My dad got this for me as he knew I liked the first Iron Man, and dammit, just watching it has tempted me into wanting some Iron Man toys!
