What treats does this special day hold?

Well, today just happens to be the 25th birthday of ol' Nemmy here, so I thought I'd do another post on hauls.

The other day (so no, these aren't birthday presents) I got another Power Rangers Super Legends figure from 1977gp and a rather nostalgic (to me anyway) anime offering on DVD from Play.com.
  • Green Samurai Ranger
  • Street Fighter II The Animated Movie Special Collector's Edition

That being said, I did get one Transformer as a present from some friends.
  • Revenge of the Fallen Demolishor
I'm actually pretty happy with this as they were worried that they might have bought one I already had (which I can understand), but I truly appreciate their thought to be honest.

It isn't that bad a toy either, even though the transformation is kinda like doing origami and balancing it in robot mode takes a lot of patience (and that isn't one of my strongest points).

Sixth Rangers and a few other goodies

I didn't get all of these items today; I was simply too lazy to post about them until now.

First from HobbyLink Japan and Frankie (a.k.a. toyspark) we have.
  • Portrait.Of.Pirates Mild Nico Robin Dereshi ver.
  • Alternity Megatron Diamond Black

Next up is two of the newer releases in the Power Rangers Super Legends range I received from chassie4011 and 1977gp.
  • Super Samurai Green Ranger
  • Titanium Rescue Ranger

And I also purchased all of the Metrodome G1 DVDs again because my old sets had some discs that'd refuse to play properly (on several players including my PC), so I thought "right, fuck you!" and looked on Play.com where I found the lot going for £20.

I feel like I'm getting far too many repaints lately

I'll probably get called mad for buying this, but I can deal with that because I know I got it solely for the mould and not the funky colour scheme.

Anyway, today I received Animated Roadbuster Ultra Magnus from Home & Gift.

It doesn't actually look that bad in person. My main gripe with it would be the QC issues.

He can't hold the Magnus Hammer (Stormbringer) with his right arm very well as the shoulder ratchet joint gives way just from the weight of it (hell, even without the hammer it still likes to droop on its own), and it feels a lot looser overall than the original I got last year.

So yeah, I'm slightly pissed about the faults, but at least I got him at a reduced price!

After five years I finally have them all!

Just a day after getting Universe Classics Nemesis Prime from Niche Gift Shop, I now have Universe Classics Sunstreaker.

And I also got another item from jonathondarque, that being the last member of the TFCC gestalt team, Heatwave.

I've been collecting the figures to build the infamously named Nexus Maximus (or is it Nexus Prime now?) for the last five years without once joining that shitty farce of a club who charges far too much for their international membership!

Now isn't that a thing of beauty?

Well, he may have originally been named after a double-ended dildo, but at least ol' Nexxy Maxi Prime here got better treatment than his brethren in the 'not having any repeated moulds' department.

I guess I really did get three of this guy

Welcome to another edition of 'what did that lucky bastard get this time?'

Let's begin by saying today's item is quite the special one because it's now the third time that I've bought it. And that toy is none other than Universe Classics Nemesis Prime which I got from Niche Gift Shop on Amazon for the bargain price £18 including postage.

Now I can have a brand spanking new Nemesis Prime on display without needing to pry the Shadow Commander armour off my loose 'pre-release' Nemesis Prime (or opening the one I have that's MISB).

Nemmy has returned with another load of toys

It has been a couple of months since I last posted here but never-mind; having a lack of motivation in-between getting distracted by other things isn't the best thing to have when thinking of stuff to write for a blog.

So once again I'll just be putting more of what I've been buying.

First we have some Animated repaints I got from a sale on Play.com.
  • Animated Shadow Blade Megatron
  • Animated Blazing Lockdown

Next we have the DX Ixa gear I was lucky to get on clearance from HobbyLink Japan.
  • DX Ixa Belt
  • DX Ixa Calibur
  • DX IxaRiser

Then to further complete my need for black repaints I went to Kapow Toys and picked-up this little beauty.
  • Alternity Convoy Super Black

Now we come to the first part of the latest haul I received from Fan2Fan.
  • Griffon 1/7 Mikuru Asahina Gothic Punk ver.
  • Alter 1/8 Haruhi Suzumiya Uniform Ver.
  • Kotobukiya 1/8 Tomoyo Sakagami
  • Alter 1/8 Haruhi Suzumiya Chara-Ani Uniform Ver.

Now here's the second part of that haul from Fan2Fan.
  • Revoltech VF-1J Hobby Japan Milia Ver.
  • S.H.Figuarts Masked Rider 2
  • figma Saber Lily (with PS2 game)
  • figma Ryoko Asakura
  • Revoltech Revolution Rei
  • S.H.Figuarts Masked Rider Decade
  • figma Yuki Nagato Evil Witch Ver.
  • figma Fate T. Harlaown
  • Revoltech Fraulein Haruhi Suzumiya (with Wii game)
  • S.H.Figuarts Masked Rider DiEnd
  • Nendoroid Yoko
  • Revoltech Fraulein Yoko Animate Movie Ver.

And finally today from Play.com, we have the repaints of the only RotF toys I own.
  • Revenge of the Fallen Swerve
  • Revenge of the Fallen Dead End
I think that's everything covered now. I don't think there's anything major missing, but knowing me I've probably forgotten something along the way.

It was a fine day to receive such a small figure

I find it quite comical whenever I receive small items from HobbyLink Japan.

You get these big ass boxes even for stuff as dinky as this Portrait.Of.Pirates Mugiwara Theater Nami figure that turned up today.

And that's about it for this post, as I can't think of anything else to say regarding the figure.

Having a blast with Sideswipe and Sideways

Well, it's August now and I finally got me some toys from Revenge of the Fallen thanks to a friend.

And from that friend I now have the rather nice deluxe class Sideswipe and Sideways.

Sideswipe is pretty cool for a movie toy, but those feet make it a chore for him to stand. It feels like he'd fall flat on his face if I so much as look at him the wrong way.

Sideways wasn't my first choice for a purchase, so I took a chance on him and in some respect I actually prefer him over Sideswipe. He's like a vastly improved version of the Barricade toy from the first movie.

The expense on this K-Touch was too high!

I'll start this post by saying that there'll be a bit of rage filled anger which will be expressed with a fair amount of swearing. So please deal with it!

Now why am I so pissed? Well, it'd be because of this DX K-Touch I got from spike-y7685.

You might be thinking it's because I dislike the item, and that would be incorrect as I'm happy that I've got the lovely K-Touch.

What I'm not happy about though is that a certain bunch of money grabbing cunts (HMRC) took my parcel and stung me £10.01 in VAT fees.

But that wasn't the most annoying part, as I later found out that the parcel had been overvalued by about ¥4000 which left me little choice but to pay double the amount of its actual retail price in bloody VAT!

And to add further insult to injury, Parcelfarce then added their fucking retarded £13.50 excuse called a clearance fee on top of that!

Please tell me why the fuck I'm paying them bastards express parcel fees on a item that took longer to get from the money grabbing cunts to me than its initial trip from Japan to this shitty country?! Just where's the fucking logic in that!!!
