Nemmy's final acquisition of 2009 has arrived today from Kapow Toys.
And it was the FansProject Aerial Team Appendage Add-on Kit.
A lovely little set which will hopefully redeem some of the aggro I faced with Hasbro's downright shitty QC'd RotF Superion I got yesterday.
Now we fast-forward a bit in time so we can see how much the kit improves the look of this toy.
I did have my doubts on this kit, but not anymore for it managed to turn the worst of the Energon gestalts (in my opinion) into something pretty awesome.
So awesome in fact I may even get that Snowman Version of the kit for my Super Link Superion.

A bargain and a extortion on the very same day
We're getting closer to 2010, and I'm still annoyed about things in 2009.
Take these two items I got today from jingleworld and Argos.
Whereas the second Black Convoy has given me nothing but trouble since the moment I bought it.
First it got delayed leaving Hong Kong (it was posted on December 1st) for 5 days due to some Chinese holiday over there. On the December 14th it arrived in the UK and got ceased by those fucking cunts at Customs, who then held it for 7 days before they'd even charge it, and after that another 4 days before releasing it to Parcelfarce (on Christmas eve of all days).
I did try calling the bastards to get it sooner, but all they kept doing was denying it was there, blaming it on Parcelfarce, or bitching about backlogs.
And you people wonder why I HATE them with a passion?
Parcelfarce were actually a bit more helpful (but still bloody awkward at times) in resolving this matter, as evidenced by me having it now and not next year.

This Christmas brought Nemmy another face
Well, isn't this shocking? The guy who has a low opinion of Christmas is here to post about presents he received from friends and family.
So besides the usual festive assortment of cash, clothes and toiletries, I woke up to these.
I'll probably open one of the Skywarps and keep the other MISB.
The wrestler feature movie DVD set will be watched when I have the time.
The Transformers DVD set won't get much use because I've already got them (but I do appreciate the thought).
And the Bumblebee Voice Mixer has been put to good use...
It allowed me to have another photo of myself without showing my REAL face!

My Rangers get a dose of Black and Blue
It is the day before Christmas, and I'm still feeling kinda pissed.
But on a more pleasant note, I received my MMPR 2010 Black and Blue Rangers from redrobot1.
It would have been nice if the MMPR 2010 Pink and Yellow Rangers I'm expecting had arrived today as well, but I had no such luck.
- Hassles within the caring profession
- Customs screwing me over in more ways than one
- My nan having a cancer scare
- Buses not running in my estate due to the weather

Another load of toys fresh from Japan
Today brought me another delivery of toys from Fan2Fan.
Most of the items were of the figma and Revoltech variety.
But I did get a couple of anime figures too.
Max Factory 1/8 Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou Ver.
Alter 1/7 Fate T. Harlaown Shin Sonic Form
This will probably be the last of my 'big' hauls for 2009, and it was a pretty decent one at that.

But the crown jewel of this haul is Masterpiece Black Convoy.

Time for some Red Ranger action
You've already had my thoughts on the MMPR 2010 Green Ranger.
Today we get to expand on that a bit as I now have my MMPR 2010 Red Ranger from klotzy101.
The figure is basically the same as the Green Ranger, but with a greater degree of arm movement because he doesn't have the shield hampering it.
He also differs from the Green Ranger by having a Blade Blaster to go with his personal weapon and the DinoFlyer (and those claw thingys).
I don't really like the Blade Blaster as it looks dumb when plugged into the belt, and also that it doesn't stay in his hand with a steady grip as it just fits in there very loosely.

Was I really going to pass this up?
While I was in the process of getting the fifth (and thankfully final) ending of the Discipline VN (which I'd put on the back-burner for close to a year), I received this item from Kapow Toys.
What I got was the visually stunning Revenge of the Fallen RA-24 Buster Optimus Prime.
For a item I only decided to purchase on a whim (as I wasn't originally intending to get any other version of this mould in favour of the upcoming black repaint), and believe me, just seeing it in the box made me glad that I bought it.
Hell, I'm quite surprised to have it at all to be honest considering it was listed as 'out of stock' when I ordered it two days ago.

More Death Note goodness on a disc
Play.com have delivered the goods again (even if it did get a bit dinged-in in the post).
Today I got the live-action movie version (to go with its anime counterpart) of Death Note.
This set contains both Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name in one neat little set (although the box is a bit on the cheap side).
I quite liked the movies as it does things the anime didn't do, like having an ending that's closer to the manga (so there's no miraculous on the verge of death sprinting from you this time, Light!).
