Nemmy and stress, not a good combination

Like last week, I'm still feeling the same, only way more stressed from having another dealing with those fuckers at HMRC and Parcelfarce that cost me £31 in fees!

Monday, Fan2Fan, I received...

• Kotobukiya 1/8 Kuroko Shirai
• Alter 1/8 Yui Hirasawa
• Alter 1/8 Mio Akiyama

Monday, Fan2Fan, I also received...

• DX Chogokin VF-27β Lucifer Valkyrie Grace O' Connor Custom

• Busou Shinki Altlene (with bonus helmet)
• Alternity A-04 Starscream White Pearl

• Alternity A-04 Skywarp Witch Purple Pearl

• S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Skull
• figma Mio Akiyama
• Henkei! Henkei! Gentei! Gentei! Dark Skyfire

Thursday, Kapow Toys and derbycitymedia, I received...

• Generations Cybertronian Optimus Prime
• Generations Cybertronian Bumblebee
• Revenge of the Fallen Autobot Skids & Mudflap
• Generations Autobot Drift
• Generations Thrust
• Air The Motion Picture

I won't be commenting on the items themselves cos a lot of them are still unopened (some were going to remain like that anyway) and I don't really feel up to it on the ones I have opened (not even on the Air movie which is exactly the same as the last one only packaged different), but I will give a word of thanks to Kapow Toys for the gratis Skids and Mudflap.

Another load of toys fresh from Japan

Today brought me another delivery of toys from Fan2Fan.

Most of the items were of the figma and Revoltech variety.

• Revoltech SFO He Tai Shou
• figma Makina Hoshimura
• figma Haruhi Suzumiya Cheerleader Ver.
• figma Mikuru Asahina Cheerleader Ver.
• figma Haruhi Suzumiya Summer Clothes Ver.

• Revoltech Fraulein Yoko Movie ver.

But I did get a couple of anime figures too.

Max Factory 1/8 Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou Ver.
Alter 1/7 Fate T. Harlaown Shin Sonic Form

This will probably be the last of my 'big' hauls for 2009, and it was a pretty decent one at that.

Lovely customer service and my first Masterpiece Black Convoy

In the last two days I received this lovely lot of toys.

The first shipment is from Fan2Fan, and it contained.

The second shipment is from Kapow Toys, and it contained.

• Masterpiece MP-1B Convoy Black Ver.
• City Commander Add-On Set
• Revenge of the Fallen Recon Ironhide

I have to give a huge thank you to Kapow Toys for this one, as they dealt with my queries about the delay of the Add-On Set and using the £5 refund from it towards Recon Ironhide very promptly.

But the crown jewel of this haul is Masterpiece Black Convoy.

I've been wanting to see this repaint for many years now and it is finally in the hands of yours truly!

Starting the week with a load of new toys

I'll keep this brief as I want to have a better look at this haul I received from Fan2Fan.

I got me some figma, Revoltech and Souchaku Henshin.

• figma.BP Suzaku Kururugi x2
• figma Doala Visitor ver.
• figma Rin Kagamine
• figma Len Kagamine
• Revoltech Fraulein Mami Futami Snow Strawberry Ver.

• figma Shana Enpatsu ver.
• Souchaku Henshin Masked Rider Arc & Rey

A few more anime figures.

• Lilics 1/6 Limit Gunz

And finally, I have these Valkyries from Macross Frontier.

• DX Chogokin VF-25S Messiah Ozma Custom

This little assortment of goodies will keep me busy for awhile until my next shipment arrives.

Better late than never is a good way to describe this purchase

Like I said when I got my Henkei Convoy. I had some eBay vouchers, and I redeemed the 10% off voucher on this Reinforce Zwei figure from rosarybox.

Reinforce Zwei was one of the first releases in the 1/7 scale Nanoha StrikerS figure range by Alter, and I rather foolishly missed out on getting her while she was still readily avilable on the market.

I didn't have anything else in mind for that voucher, so it became the perfect chance to finally get her into my collection of anime figures.

How can anyone resist having these Nanoha and Saber figures?

Well, it appears Alter will be getting more of my money now that I've seen their awesome looking (StrikerS) Nanoha Takamachi and Saber Lily figures.

Both of these figures have a release date of October, and that gives me a little over four months to scrape together some funds to get them.

I know one thing that'll probably scare me about Nanoha once I have her in my possession. Her box might be even bigger than that of Hayate!

I never thought this haul would arrive today!

I got myself quite the unexpected haul from Fan2Fan today.

The reason it was unexpected is because I didn't even know that Ryan had sent it until the Parcelfarce guy arrived with them.

More importantly though, here are all the wonderful toys that were in those parcels.

These were the Revoltech, figma and S.I.C. items I received.

• Revoltech Fraulein Haruka Hasegawa
• Revoltech Fraulein Miki Hoshii Noel Angelic Ver.
• S.I.C. Masked Rider Shadow Moon & Black
• figma Miyuki Takara Winter Uniform ver.
• figma Sun Seto
• figma Sakura Hime JPWA Tag Tournament ver.

These were the Nendoroid and freebie items I received.

• Nendoroid Miku Hatsune
• Nendoroid Rin Kagamine
• Nendoroid Len Kagamine
• Nendoroid Shana Epatsu-Shakugan Ver.
• Nendoroid Saber Lion
• Some gashapon-esque Masked Rider Zanki figure

This was (by far) the largest item I received.

• Alter 1/7 Hayate Yagami

And finally, these were the anime figure items I received.

• Good Smile Company 1/7 Shiki Ryougi Garannodou
• Alpha x Omega 1/8 Kallen Kouzuki Bunny Girl Ver.
• Wave 1/8 Yoko Space-Look Ver.
• Alter 1/8 Asa Shigure
• Resinya 1/6 Kudryavka Noumi Wafu pose ver.
• Kotobukiya 1/8 Kyou Fujibayashi

Personally, I think the biggest shocker inside this haul for me was the Hayate figure cos the box for her was so fucking huge she needed her own damn photo!

I'll be the one in a Riot if I don't get this Fate

Of all the characters from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS that Alter have been making into figures. This one is easily my most wanted of the bunch as Fate Testarossa played a major part in drawing my eye to the Nanoha franchise to begin with.

Their newest figure is of one Fate T. Harlaown with her Barrier Jacket in New Sonic Form wielding Bardiche Assault as either the Riot Blade or Riot Zanber.

Again, this is another figure that is due for release in August.

Ugh, I'm still pissed that I haven't managed to obtain Alter's previous Fate Testarossa as I consider it to be one of the most awesome and impressive figures that I've ever seen.

And with that in mind. I will not be missing my chance to get an order in for their newest figure of Fate!

A hard choice in picking Kiva or the Dirty Red

I couldn't be bothered to create two separate posts for these items, so I'm bunging them together.

On one side, we have the new Project BM! Kamen Rider Kiva that isn't due out till September according to the pre-order listing I found on Ami Ami.

And on the other, we have a lovely figure of Touko Aozaki from Kara no Kyoukai by Alter.

Of the two, I'd say I'm more interested in owning Touko at this point, as she'll be released three months before Kiva.

Bounty Hunter Yoko Littner is a must have figure

See, this is exactly what I meant about the downfall of liking character cash cows.

Along with the Yoko we saw yesterday, we now have Alter giving us their take on Yoko Littner in her awesome looking bounty hunter gear from episode 26 of Gurren Lagann.

I may complain about the constant milking Yoko has had at the expense of the other characters in the show. But I'll probably buy this figure anyway because I really do like the character.

Hell, I think I might have started collecting more figures of her than Saber.

Snow won't keep Nemmy from his toys

The weather outside may look like a winter wonderland, and the temperature bloody freezing. But luckily for me that didn't stop Parcelfarce from delivering my newest goodies from Japan.

The first needs no introduction. It's the DX Decadriver from the new Kamen Rider Decade series, which I got from toy-wholesaler.jp for roughly £80 including EMS shipping. Pricey, but it was worth every penny to this Heisei Rider fan.

Next up is my haul from Ryan a.k.a. Fan2Fan.

This shipment from him contained Enterbrain's Rider figure from Fate/stay night, Alter's Signum figure from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, both versions of Wave's Lena Sayers figure from Mai-Otome, the Dengeki Daioh Ver. of Nendoroid Shana from Shakugan no Shana, and Revoltech Ricky from Doko Demo Issyo.

And if that weren't enough, I even got this transforming beetle robot as a free gift. Haven't got a clue as to which range it comes from though.

Well, I'd say today was a good day for receiving toys. You could almost call it a second Christmas for me with all the snow we've had.

Master to All Evils of the World? I'd welcome her!

I got a delivery in the post this morning from eBay seller rosarybox, and it was the Alter made figure of Sakura Matou in her Battle Dress from the visual novel, Fate/hollow ataraxia.

Now as you may know from reading my visual novel reminiscence post, I've never actually played Fate/hollow ataraxia. So all my knowledge of Sakura is from the Fate/stay night anime and of course, the VN.

In the anime I found her to be an annoying, stubborn and somewhat clingy character that got in the way of my much loved Saber and Rin screentime. In retrospect, I was too quick to judge her.

A lot of her tragic back story was missing from the anime, and it wasn't until I started the Heavens Feel route of the VN where I understood her more as a character, that my opinion of her truly changed.

Seriously, she became all likeable and yandere when staying with Shirou. Rider improved as a Servant with Sakura as her Master. And you can't forget the sheer unbridled awesomeness of her killing that detestable asshole Shinji, and then succumbing to the darkness within!

Subaru Nakajima gets the Alter figure treatment

The StrikerS series of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha might have been full of total lacklustre for the most part. Which was annoying after the epic awesomeness of its predecessor, A's.

Even so, it did have at least one thing I liked, and that was the blatant GaoGaiGar homage character who went by the name of Subaru Nakajima. Hell, just watch her raging fury in episode 17 to see why Nemmy likes Subaru.

So it was pleasing to discover that Alter will be making a figure of her as their next Nanoha release. The only trouble for me now is finding the cash to buy her when she comes out in June.
