Better late than never is a good way to describe this purchase

Like I said when I got my Henkei Convoy. I had some eBay vouchers, and I redeemed the 10% off voucher on this Reinforce Zwei figure from rosarybox.

Reinforce Zwei was one of the first releases in the 1/7 scale Nanoha StrikerS figure range by Alter, and I rather foolishly missed out on getting her while she was still readily avilable on the market.

I didn't have anything else in mind for that voucher, so it became the perfect chance to finally get her into my collection of anime figures.

This is my core robot for the D.I.A. Commander!

eBay gave me three vouchers to use, so I went and redeemed the £2 off voucher on this Henkei! Henkei! C-01 Convoy from ccballcc2008.

Yeah, I know already own this Convoy, but I'm keeping it boxed.

So, the main reasoning for getting another one was so I could use it with the D.I.A. Commander I have on order.

Thank the Taiyaki for this patch of Kanon

My 'habit' in missing patches for Kanon lost a round (for once) as I didn't miss the release of NDT's latest patch for the Ayu Tsukimiya route.

I was however a tad preoccupied with something else yesterday to actually think about writing this post about it.

And seeing as they'll be releasing a 'finalised' patch for it next month, I'm simply going to wait for that one now (unless I happen to get bored and decide to play their current 'completed' patch before then).

This Mode-B repaint of Linebarrel will be mine!

Now THIS is more like it CM's! THIS was the Linebarrel repaint I wanted to see, not that nasty pink Mode-C repaint you made.

The time I can finally place an order for this Brave Gokin Linebarrel is close at hand now that stores like Ami Ami are listing the Mode-B repaint.

The Mode-B repaint will also have a figure of Emi Kizaki packaged with it, but I'm not too interested in her when the main attraction is an awesome looking black repaint.

Bandai is Amazing at making fans dread their Mighty desire for exclusives!

I think I can partly scratch what I said about Bandai loving its Den-O exclusives, as it now seems that they just love doing exclusives for the sake of having exclusives.

Their next exclusive to bleed the fans dry is S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Amazing Mighty Form.

I can understand why they want exclusives, but this is getting beyond a joke. I don't remember the Souchaku Henshin range releasing exclusives month after month, so why start now?

It's hard enough keeping current on the mass market stuff without worrying about all these exclusives too!

Why was I not informed of this range called mobip?

I must have missed the news about this new mobip figure range from Aoshima. Because when I saw these Komari Kamikita and Rin Natsume mobips on Ami Ami yesterday, I nearly mistook them for figmas.

Just seeing those similar looking joints and stands was enough to make me think of figma.

I don't really want to get into collecting yet another figure range. But I might have to change my mind on that if mobip will be doing characters that haven't been in figma (or Revoltech).

From what information I seen on this range, the fact they're already covering Little Busters! (and K-ON! in the near future apparently) is enough to gain my interest at very least.

Minato will now have a Fate to stand with

I just saw something today that reminded of that 'Minato' figure I made an post about in late January.

And the reason why I'm mentioning it again now is because of this.

Good Smile Company have just made it harder to do that Minato comparison with their swimsuit Nanoha by releasing a matching figure of Fate T. Harlaown in her swimsuit attire.

I originally had little interest in getting that Nanoha figure, but now I kinda want it as there'll be a Fate to display with her.

Now I get to patch my Kanon with Gyuudon

I know I said I was going to consider waiting until Kanon is completely translated, but I just thought it was funny that the habit has continued to the new patch for Mai Kawasumi's route.

If I miss the release of NDT's next patch, then I'll have a complete set of misses.

Well, it'll certainly be interesting to see if the 'habit' strikes again once the patch for Ayu Tsukimiya's route is done. Although I'll probably be more interested in playing the actual VN at that time to even care about it.

How can anyone resist having these Nanoha and Saber figures?

Well, it appears Alter will be getting more of my money now that I've seen their awesome looking (StrikerS) Nanoha Takamachi and Saber Lily figures.

Both of these figures have a release date of October, and that gives me a little over four months to scrape together some funds to get them.

I know one thing that'll probably scare me about Nanoha once I have her in my possession. Her box might be even bigger than that of Hayate!

I never thought this haul would arrive today!

I got myself quite the unexpected haul from Fan2Fan today.

The reason it was unexpected is because I didn't even know that Ryan had sent it until the Parcelfarce guy arrived with them.

More importantly though, here are all the wonderful toys that were in those parcels.

These were the Revoltech, figma and S.I.C. items I received.
  • Revoltech Fraulein Haruka Hasegawa
  • Revoltech Fraulein Miki Hoshii Noel Angelic Ver.
  • S.I.C. Masked Rider Shadow Moon & Black
  • figma Miyuki Takara Winter Uniform ver.
  • figma Sun Seto
  • figma Sakura Hime JPWA Tag Tournament ver.

These were the Nendoroid and freebie items I received.
  • Nendoroid Miku Hatsune
  • Nendoroid Rin Kagamine
  • Nendoroid Len Kagamine
  • Nendoroid Shana Epatsu-Shakugan Ver.
  • Nendoroid Saber Lion
  • Some gashapon-esque Masked Rider Zanki figure

This was (by far) the largest item I received.
  • Alter 1/7 Hayate Yagami

And finally, these were the anime figure items I received.
  • Good Smile Company 1/7 Shiki Ryougi Garannodou
  • Alpha x Omega 1/8 Kallen Kouzuki Bunny Girl Ver.
  • Wave 1/8 Yoko Space-Look Ver.
  • Alter 1/8 Asa Shigure
  • Resinya 1/6 Kudryavka Noumi Wafu pose ver.
  • Kotobukiya 1/8 Kyou Fujibayashi
Personally, I think the biggest shocker inside this haul for me was the Hayate figure cos the box for her was so fucking huge she needed her own damn photo!

The countdown is on for the Umineko anime

We finally get a peek at the Umineko anime in motion, and it actually looks pretty damn good all barring Battler looking less buff than he's supposed to be.

Battler's buff appearance was one of the hot topics with the Ushiromiya family in Episode 1 of the VN because they hadn't seen him in six years.

I know the violence will be toned down for anime (which is understandable), but I'll accept that so long as they don't ruin the story in the process (ChäoS;HEAd, I'm looking at you!).

Having a laugh a minute with Taichi!

I've just finished playing the week one patch for CROSS†CHANNEL, and damn, I couldn't stop laughing at Taichi's antics.

Seriousily, the dude has a funniness level about him that makes even the almighty Sunohara seem somewhat tame in comparison.

And you know what? My mind has gone totally blank cos I can't think of anything else to add about it other than how funny it was. So, I think I'll just leave my brief opinion on it at that until the next patch is released.

I now have all of Beast Machines on DVD

Damn, I didn't expect Play.com to be so slow in sending this out. It has been over a week since I got my Complete Season Two of Beast Machines from them.

Nevertheless, I have now my Complete Season One of Beast Machines, and I'll probably watch the whole series once I've finished replaying the latter part of Umineko Episode 4 again.

That's four episodes of Umineko completed

Now isn't this funny? I downloaded that new patch for Umineko yesterday, and I finish the remainder of Episode 4 in just over a day (it should have lasted me longer dammit!).

But then again, it does make up for that 'shortness' by having some epic confrontations.

Hell, they were so bleeding epic that I couldn't stop reading when I got to them! Does that give you enough of a hint at how much I liked Episode 4 of Umineko?

If it doesn't, then that's your loss really, as I don't feel like listing out my favourite moments.

And now that I've finished Alliance of the Golden Witch quicker than expected, the wait for Episode 5 to come out and then be translated is going to be rather annoying.

Ah well, at least I can kill some of the waiting time for the next Episode by watching the upcoming anime adaptation.

The second patch for Umineko Episode 4 is out

I was going to settle in playing the recently released English patches for Pure Pure (with an installer that adores yelling Goshujin-sama at you no less) and G-Senjou no Maou as I can't be arsed to finish collecting the remaining CGs in MOON. at the moment (or resume some of the VNs in my backlog).

But even those will have to wait now, and it does somewhat pain me to say that about G-Senjou no Maou as it was getting really interesting when Haru Usami made her grand introduction.

Why must they wait? It's quite simple really when you have The Witch Hunt releasing their second (and thankfully complete) patch for Episode 4 of Umineko!

I've only reached the aftermath of the first twilight thus far, and it was surreal to the extreme.

The exclusives never end just like Den-O itself!

More Den-O exclusives already? Man, they sure love milking this Kamen Rider series.

It hasn't even been a month since that S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaoh was listed on the Tamashii Web Shop.

Ah well, here's our best (and only) chance to own an S.I.C. Negataros and S.H.Figuarts Kintaros I guess.

UPDATE 16/06/2009 - Changed the Negataros picture to one that shows the actual product.

I got my Death Note DVDs Just as Planned!

I actually got these DVDs from Play.com on Monday, but I've been feeling stressed lately because I'm still having connection problems with the ever wonderful AoHell.

I wish they'd just admit its their fault instead of blaming it on lines, cables, filters, or the sodding weather each and every time I call them up about it! If their broadband service is so fucking faultless, how come I have to use my old Sega Dreamcast's internet capabilities to get it back on most of the time? I bet they can't answer that question with one of their bullshit excuses!

And now that I've had a rant on that, its back to those DVDs.

The first DVD is the fifth and final volume of Death Note. I took a photo of it with the other four volumes so I could show that I've got them all.

The other is the Complete Season Two of Beast Machines. I did also order the Complete Season One when I ordered this set, but Play.com are taking their sweet time in sending it to me.
